ACERCA DE SI LOS EXTRATERRESTRES SON REALES O FALSOS

There is not question about the reality of UFOs - meaning that Earth has been visited by extraterrestrial entities. Several years ago, during a period of unemployment, I began to ask fundamental questions about reality, and one question I wanted an answer to was precisely the question you have asked. I began to do research, and was really astounded by the amount of incontrovertible evidence. Before researching the subject, my opinion was "Who knows? It's possible, but scientists don't believe in UFOs, and I believe in science, so the UFO phenomenon is probably not true."

However, I kept an open mind and investigated. My own criteria was to dismiss any claim made by one person, because I can't confirm whether the person is telling the truth. Pictures and videos don't mean much in the digital era, so I dismissed out of hand all pictures and videos from the digital era, although older pictures have more credibility because we know they would not be created through software, and it is easier to determine that something is a model.

However, I find the strongest testimony to be credible witness testimony given by multiple witnesses, all of whom stood nothing to gain, and even much to lose, by going on record about their experiences. And I found such evidence. There are a number of cases that are extremely compelling because the witnesses are numerous and highly credible, and there is no other plausible explanation. Here is some of the best evidence, in my opinion:

1. Ariel School Sighting, 1994, Zimbabwe: In 1994, a number of UFO landed just outside the schoolyard of Ariel School in Zimbabwe during recess. Sixty two (62) children, of various ages, black and white, all younger than 10 or so, saw the UFO and saw two beings leave the craft. Aside from the large number of credible witnesses, who all describe the beings and craft, what makes this case special is that the interviews with the children were conducted by Harvard Psychology Professor John Mack (who died a few years ago), who is among the most credentialed and qualified people to have taken the UFO subject seriously. His interviews with the children were fascinating. There are other documentaries in which the same people, now adults, revisit the experience. Check out Harvard Professor Mack's interviews with the children, conducted just weeks after the experience.

2. Japanese Flight 1628 (JAL 1628)- In the 1986, a Japanese cargo flight en route from Paris to Toyko was flying over Alaska when the three-man crew, led by Captain Kenju Terauchi, saw something obviously "out of the world" - a walnut shaped craft the size of two aircraft carriers - just immense in size - right next to their plane. Other craft were entering and exiting the mothership. They were so close that they could feel the heat of the craft on their faces. They were terrified. Terauchi contacted the FAA flight control tower to ask what he was looking at, to ask whether the military had any flights - the tower had the object on radar, another plane saw it from a distance. Terauchi made a 360 degree loop to try to get rid of the "traffic" but the UFO tracked him. They flew alongside each other for 45 minutes. Despite being discouraged by his employer to discuss the incident in the media, he did so anyway. Terauchi was thereafter assigned a desk job. What makes this incident extraordinary is a) the nature of what he saw - its sheer size and dissimilarity to any earthly craft really leaves no alternative explanation than extraterrestrial craft b) the number of trained and experienced pilots who witnessed the event - three c) the duration of the sighting (45 minutes) d) radar data confirming the encounter and e) how the story ends... the Reagan White House convened an extraordinary meeting the day after the incident, which was attended by high level officials from the White House, FBI, CIA, FAA Division Chief John Callahan, and Reagan's science advisory panel. Callahan had secretly made copies of the radar data, the recorded conversation between Capt. Terauchi and the flight control tower. Callahan reported that the meeting was over before it ever began; the CIA officials collected all of the evidence and told everyone present that "this never happened." When Callahan asked, "Well, what was it?" - the CIA official said simply, "Well, it was a UFO."

3. The Varginha Crash, Brazil - in the early 1990s, something crashed in the middle of the night in the town of Varginha, Brazil - the army and police surrounded the craft. There were dead and injured aliens in and around the craft - one was taken to the hospital. Although the doctors and other people involved have clammed up, UFO investigators interviewed key people, including a guard who was present in the hospital. They describe a quite hideous looking hominid creature with leathery/oily skin, with a highly unpleasant odor. Two emergency responders (firemen) who had come into direct contact with the creature (they touched it), died of mysterious causes soon thereafter. The following day after the crash, three female teenagers saw a creature hiding in some shrubbery in town - they have gone on the record about what they saw, how freaked out they were. The level of evidence for this case is not as strong for the preceding two cases because some of the testimony is second hand - we have the testimony of individuals as recorded by an investigator. Some people are willing to talk about what happened, like the teenage witnesses. This one is a bit like Roswell insofar as the initial reports were "A UFO crashed in Varginha," which was followed by intense efforts to suppress the story. However, it was also a very public event - there was a crash in the middle of the night - and NORAD had tracked a UFO and informed Brazil that it was headed in their direction.

4. Rendlesham Forrest Incident - In 1980, a UFO landed in at Royal Airforce Base Woodbridge, in Suffolk, England, which was used by the United States - and was a nuclear bomb storage facility, in violation of a treaty. The incident actually occurred over a three-day period around Christmas - there were unusual lights at night but on the third day of the sightings, a craft actually LANDED in the woods, on the base, and the second in command of the entire base, Lt. Col Charles Halt, went into the woods to investigate "the lights," which had already caused a stir over the previous nights. Lt. Col. Halt and a few other guys went out there with "electric torches" - and they saw amazing things - UFOs flying all over the place, and then they approached one - quite bravely - that had landed in the woods. It was a triangle shaped craft, on three pods, six feet tall, whose exterior metallic surface changed color and otherwise appeared "out of this world." There were symbols etched on the surface, which Halt sketched in his notebook. He also had a tape recorder with him and recorded their experiences in the woods. What makes the case extraordinary is their qualifications - they were airforce people and knew their aircraft - the large number of qualified witnesses, dozens, who had witnessed some part of the whole three-day incident, and the few guys who saw the landed craft - and the high rank of Lt. Col. Halt - who remains the highest ranked military officer to report a UFO.

5. The Travis Walton story - In the mid-1970s, 1975 I think, several loggers were on their home after a day logging in a national forrest. Walton worked for a guy named Mike Rogers, who had a contract with the federal government to clear - maintain - a federal national park. On their way home in a truck with an extended cab they ran into a UFO hovering 20 feet above ground. It was sleek, other-wordly, and they all knew immediately what they were seeing. Walton is the only guy who got out, gingerly approached the craft, and sort of crouched near a pile of logging debris. The craft began to make a sound, as if something was getting ready to happen, Walton's co-workers began to shout at him to get back in the truck, and that's just what he was about to do when... kabang... a beam of light three him up and backwards 10 to 20 feet, knocking him unconscious. His co-workers thought he was dead, and in total panic, they sped off down the road. Mike collected himself, and 15 minutes later they returned to the scene... no UFO, no Travis. They went back to town and told the sheriff what had happened, but naturally, authorities assumed that they were trying to cover up a homicide with a UFO story. They were scrutinized and investigated for five days - they had passed a series of polygraph tests - but were still in trouble - when Walton appeared naked on a highway. They were all from Snowflake, AZ. Walton remembers only a few hours from those five days. He woke up believing himself to be in a hospital. He describes gradually emerging into consciousness over some unknown period of time - he was groggy, in pain, and had some device resting on his chest. When he finally got a better look at the "nurses" - he understandably lost it. He just freaked out. He describes three diminutive greyish creatures looking at him - he says their eyes really unnerved him - he had nightmares about it for years - he said that the general feeling was that they did not care about him, one way or the other. A detached vibe. Well, they got scared of him because he was reacting emotionally, so they left the room, and then Walton left that room trying to find a way out - listen to his story in his own words, it's the best story ever (youtube, Walton, MUFON conference 2012 or so and you can tell it's real. Then, after some minutes, a human looking person shows up, grabs him by the arm, leads him out of that UFO - and he realizes that he's in a hanger type of building where several UFOs are parked... the guy takes him into a room, where he sees a human woman, but nobody ever says anything, and then she puts a mask on him and he wakes up on the highway.

I wouldn't take Walton's story seriously if there weren't six other guys who saw the UFO, and who to this day stand by their claim.

I have chosen five stories, but there are many others with fewer witnesses and less amazing. The question is, why, despite the number of sightings, the number of credible witnesses, does the scientific community appear intent on ignoring these reported experiences?

We must bear in mind that the scientific method has an extremely high criterion to prove a theory as true - a scientist must create an experiment that can be repeated by other scientists. The nature of UFO sightings is such that humans have absolutely no control over the phenomenon. They appear, they disappear, and sceintists can, at most, record witnesses' observation and testimony. In science, this does not constitute proof. In law, however, it does. The fact that we cannot establish the existence of UFO with scientific certainty does not mean that UFOs are not real. It just means that scientists are powerless to control UFO sightings, and because extraterrestrial intelligence must be operating beyond the current paradigm of physics, scientists simply don't take the subject seriously.

The recently released videos of UFOs, is not likely a proof of aliens. Those craft might belong to much more mundane entities; the US, China, Japan, Russia, or India. The fact is that if we rule out that those crafts were made by humans, then aliens become a good hypothesis. The least likely most outlier hypothesis but what else might it be? What people seem to not realize is that aliens are not supernatural entities. They aren't angels, or ghosts, or even Cthulhu.

The space between the stars is vast. The fastest anything can travel is the speed of light but only massless objects like photons ever go that fast. The problem is that when you travel even a percentage of luminal speed, you have time dilation. Even if the intrepid ET explorers arrive to their destination within their lifetime, generations might have passed back home. If they then returned they would arrive to a place everyone they knew would be dead.

Forty years ago, the only planets we were sure of were the ones right here in our solar system. Today we know of thousands of stars that have planets. There are around 200 stars with planets within 50 light years of Earth. Today we are researching tweaks to propulsion, that might get us to 25-50% the speed of light. We are looking into life extension as well. It wouldn't take much to put those planets 50 light years away within our reach.

Aliens are not the real paradigm change regarding the recently confirmed validity of those video. After sixty years of denying any interest, let alone evidence of UFOs by the military, this revelation is quite new. What first comes to my mind is that the military has engaged in a cover-up. Not of any grand scheme but still a problematic fact; our airspace is not as secure as we have been led to believe.

What is the truth behind UFOs?

I’m no expert, but I did spend about 15 years studying the subject. I actually did some of my own investigations. There are no definite answers. The UFO phenomenon is impalpable. It’s very complex. You won’t be able to grasp its implications unless you do your homework, and that requires a great deal of research. I’ve read close to a hundred books on the subject. I’ve read many papers written by scientists who’ve studied and researched it. By far the most informed of all the UFOlogists whose works I’ve read is Jacques Vallee.

I will attempt to elucidate you on what I know.

UFOs may not have anything to do with aliens. The popular belief is that some, a small percentage of UFOs sighted, are of extraterrestrial origin. This is a premature conclusion, because there’s no evidence that aliens are behind those encounters. UFOs may represent a form of energy. As Vallee points out, some of the physical evidence suggests that UFOs seem to represent a large amount of energy in a small space. That energy seems to emanate from an intelligence, whether that’s E.T. or something else. The fact is, sightings of UFOs and related phenomena goes back centuries. There is a striking similarity between the characteristics of faeries and elves and UFOnauts. These similarities cannot be ignored. However, many UFOlogists do ignore them and treat the subject as nonsense.

UFOs are elusive. They present themselves as extraterrestrial in nature, but given the statistical analysis done by several scientists, the likelihood of it being alien goes down considerably. For example, some Ufologists claim that UFOs are surveying the Earth. Given the number of UFO landings that would be pointless. Why would these highly advanced aliens need to land and study soil and vegetation so much? They wouldn’t have to land at all. They could send probes to do that.

I have talked to many UFO witnesses. Many of them never reported their sighting, and many of them didn’t want to tell others about it out of fear of ridicule. I think they felt safe with me because I was knowledgeable about UFOs. I listened to them in confidence and they trust that I won’t publish their names. My point is, you can’t really appreciate the reality of this phenomenon by just reading about it. You definitely can’t judge the validity of this phenomenon by watching the news or listening to the skeptics. Some of the skeptics have valid points. I’m all for skepticism. However, they seem to think they know everything there is about the subject, but have never lifted one finger to actually investigate it themselves. Sure, there is very little hard evidence to study. This does not mean there’s not a real phenomenon. At one time we didn’t know bacteria existed. We invented technologies that allowed us to see it.

I hope this is helpful!

You can find people who believe all sorts of things. But a reasonable person does not assert that the unknown is known.

First, let’s differentiate between UFOs and “alien ships.”

All UFOs are UNIDENTIFIED. It’s right there in the name (UNIDENTIFIED Flying Object). Once an object is identified, it is no longer a UFO.

No flying object has ever been identified to be of alien origin.

Next, yes: there is tons of evidence of UFOs. Here is a list of some of the most famous UFOs: List of reported UFO sightings - Wikipedia

And of course, the moment any of these sightings is identified, it is removed from the list (as it is no longer unidentified).

Could some UFOs be hoaxes? Sure. Even probably. Certainly, there have been flying objects that were temporarily unidentified but later discovered to have been hoaxes.

However, there are also some documented UFOs that have been seen to behave in ways that are unexplainable by our current understanding of physics.

In my experience, there are 3 general categories of “belief” with regard to UFOs:

Those who believe it is not possible that we have been visited by aliens (due to speed-of-light considerations, complete lack of hard evidence, religious convictions, etc.)

Those who believe that some UFOs have been alien ships

Those who care about evidence and therefore suspend belief altogether (i.e., “Who cares what I believe? What matters are facts and evidence.”)

Do you think, that in this teeming spectrum of Universe, we human beings and other animals are the only living beings? Does life exist in only one planet - Earth? Of course not.

Non-celestial bodies DO exist, that's what I believe. I can't say if they've ever visited earth or not, but someone can be definitely more advanced than us. Many planets similar to earth might have formed millions of years ago, and so, now the beings of those planets are technologically much, much ahead of us. Maybe, in the future, we too may have the technology to hover in space as alien ships do.

If we go by mythology, take the examples of Greek, Hindu, Norse, Roman, Egyption, Mayan, Babylonian and other ancient mythologies. All of them involve someone who 'comes down on earth from space'.

But at the same time, we should not believe in all the reports of UFO sightings we come across. Many of YouTube videos relating to them are absolutely fake. Many reports across the internet are mere hallucinations.

CONCLUSION: I'd suggest you to believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life, and that they may be more advanced than us. As for me, many reported UFO sightings around various places are FALSE but the very prospect of them existing somewhere in the Universe is TRUE.

Good question. The UFO phenomenon is just that, a phenomenon. Unidentified Flying Objects are just that, UFOs. Yes, it’s real. We will always have UFOs and UAPs.

They are more than likely Demons. Demons love to project and mess with humans. They pretend to be Angels, humans, ghosts, your friend, your lover, UFOs, and UAPs. Demons love to pretend. They love to dupe you. Their specialty is deceit. They love to mess with humans pretending to be aliens.

If God created another intelligent being besides man and the Angels, or fallen Angels, God would have told us. I stand by my statement.

Are aliens real and is there real proof?

It could be proven if the governments would allow it, but alas, they won’t. But you can check out Cosmic Disclosure on GAIA.com. watch from the beginning or you’ll be confused.

There are many whistleblowers with exemplary credentials speaking out . But mainstream media just won’t allow anything about it to be revealed. Corey Goode, David Wilcock and Emery Smith are fascinating sources. And there is a movie called Above Majestic (Amazon Video) that tells a lot of the story.

Once you start researching you will be flooded with evidence.

But many won’t believe it even if they see an ET standing right in front of them. They’d think it was a fake. The lack of mainstream talk about it is not surprising. No one wants to be called an idiot, and that’s how mind control works. Shame and ridicule of certain subjects to control most public conversation and opinion on it. And it works.

So it can’t be proven to most people for now, but the numbers of those who believe or are open to it are growing by the minute.

My own mother who is the most sane person you could ever meet, and had never considered things like UFOs at all, saw one in her own back pasture. She looked at it for quite a while, then ran into the house to get her husband and when she came back out it was gone. She was an artist and drew it for me. It looked like the standard one. And I have heard other stories of actual ET meetings from people I trust. So to me this is pretty unquestionable.

But if you don’t believe, or want to believe, then let it go. Please don’t continue the ridicule. It will change nothing.

One day there will be no question and we can discuss it all then.

And by the way, they are nothing to fear apparently. They want us to protect our earth and become more loving to each other. So coming out shooting is not the proper response.

Former UFO Researcher 30 yrs, clerk gov. military service (1973–1990)4y

A different voice about the unknown has stated :“There is absolutely no evidence that we have detected any intelligent technological life anywhere in the universe(s).” I will be showing this here.I mean no disrespect to that Presenter.I will be showing my own analysis, though simplified about some shocking images from NASA that we should have been made aware of when they were first released long ago… My answer will be added when completed. Most of my work was done long ago almost a decade in some cases and my findings never “made it out of Google’ I am fond of saying. Such is the Monopoly on Truths or “Truthiness” we are faced with today…At the very least, in fair play, YouTube should not be part of any tech giant…My presentations were primitive on YTube but I did the work at image analysis of NASA images to see if I could what experts at the space agency would be looking for, something out of the ordinary…Very few people ever saw my work at YTube once the “X” censor program AKA shadowbanning was perfected. I kept working anyways, for years to locate signs of something not normal…or “manmade”, in this case meaning made by beings with resources, science and skills. Shall we begin ? Focus on MARS ….is a start . First I did not assume I would find the most obvious signs of an ET presence on MARS such as a Base, but it would be visible in such a desolate landscape if an ET race came in to organize observation of Earth from a safe distance…After many months of quietly observing the amazing research advances of NASA when a site was put online to view the Mars surface,(one decade ago?) I made every effort to notify the public of any findings I would make. I was stopped at the internet level to get my work out to the public but I was never blocked from official sites…Free extra research help never is turned down eh ? A side note : 8 to 10 years ago (estimated) time existed in between my study work and discoveries when I first located data on Mars. That delay between findings was normal and was often months apart, and that delay let people I knew see the images and contemplate the possibilities…Months apart. A time to absorb the new data. You in this site deserve the same consideration in between updates and I can do that for you.

MARS BASE….next. Presumably not a MARS race, but no way to tell… Age of structures could be ancient, or 500 years old or 50 yrs old etc… derr’s first view after enlarged photo.

Increased attention became necessary due to the structures seen, they seemed the same, same size etc….the locations of structures were also in a geometric shape precision (required for pipelines and tunnels underground) to each “structure”. I endeavored to increase my studies over time.

To repeat : In the distant past there was time in between my study work to let people I knew see the images and contemplate the possibilities…My delays in findings gave my friends time to absorb the new data. A delay. You in this site deserve the same consideration in between updates and THAT I can do. As time went by long ago upon presenting the data online. and little recognition or official interest in my work occurred I just kept working…to know more, to learn more…More to Come. Absorb the first steps and then more analysis will come.

Even though it was over 6 or 7 years ago that I was asked (respectfully) to provide the photo title reference numbers for this site location on Mars, and I did back then, I will look for that info in my files to add here. My first day search of my files did not bring me the reference Mars image location numbers. But updated images will come now, as sure as a sunrise march at 6 AM for Army recruits in training. More Analysis of this site…now.

Derrufo Konepke Discovery and Analysis…

Above do you see all the details? The large same shape and size structures but look more closely…Do you see the system of paired together smaller cone-like hardened structures? 2 paired together and set apart…2 here….2 there…like what we are familiar with on Earth…Anti-Aircraft protected gun placements…or a different defensive or early warning guard watch site system…

Derrufo Konepke Discovery and Analysis…

Quora site may well wish to set up a MARS Discovery section to ask different questions of me so the images will not overload one Answer Section. There is much work to reveal. —End.

Hello,, there was a tiny bit of evidence when some aliens have supposed to have landed in the place where America do all there testing and did a lot in the cold war,,, lets go on the basis that it is not true me and you no that for certain and so do the American government and they say so,, but whatever they say if its true or not true every one will say there was aliens there hiding it,, maybe there are,, but take one thing into account America has more flying saucer and aliens sightings , than the rest of the world put together ,, aliens must love America,, so a small bit of evidence but America are saying it was just testing planes ,, balloons and weapons,, so it is up to a person what they believe, I think we could have had a visit but if it was a 100 thousand years ago it was an ice age,, they might have landed and gone away,, but did we have a visit when the dinosaurs were on the planet,, or even when there was no life,, if there are recent visits maybe there living among us , but for what reason,,, I do believe if we have something aliens want they will maybe kill to get it,,, just like the Spanish when they landed in the new world and wanted the gold they started killing ,, guns against bows and arrows,, they probably could kill at will ,, so lets hope it does not happen,,, hope it helps a bit,,,

What is the belief behind UFOs and aliens? Is there any evidence to support their existence on Earth? How credible are these claims?

“There is none whatsoever”.

Do you know how to spot the liars and ‘Disinformation Specialists’ when it comes to aliens and UFOs?

They have thousands of followers and make matter-of-fact statements about unexplained phenomena they can’t possibly have the answers to.

Below is a quote from Steven Caddens answer:

“This Earth is the only planet in the universe to harbour intelligent life, and so the Universe exists only because humans are here to view it, and acknowledge it's existence. Think about that.”

We humans just got off the ground of a 4.5-billion-year-old planet. Don’t believe anyone who acts as if they know it all.

Let’s take a closer look at what I circled.

It’s an ‘advanced human’ craft that come in single and double cylinders as well. And they are everywhere around here.

Not close enough for you?

Check out a single.

This is one of three images taken using a timer and tripod. It was just hundreds of feet above me, yet I had no idea it was there. And would you believe at night they fly around pretending to be helicopters?

I have even photographed a flying boat that has clearly been sitting in the ocean. And such craft help explain the ancient hieroglyphs you’re about to see.

What looks like a helicopter, boat and other familiar craft really represent them. And don’t get me going on what the insect is all about.

Would you like to see a message in the sky such craft I’ve shown play some kind of role in?

I thought you would.

This is actually a heart that as you can see was tied together. And that’s so it couldn’t be torn apart by real ‘spirits’ in the sky that are empowered by our hate, greed and destruction of our natural environment.

Do you really think this was created by a plane, Steven?

Here’s the almost completed message. And don’t think for a second the exclamation point in the form of a camera flare appeared next to the heart by chance.

Of course, the flare came from inside the camera I’m holding. And take a look at what was on my mind while taking the pictures.

Peace and Love!

This, folks, is an example of the power of our positive or negative energy.

Now check out what the insect in the ancient hieroglyph represents.

You would not believe what people like Mr. Caddens say about such creatures I prove can be tiny or huge and look so many different ways you don’t realize you’re seeing the same thing.

An image from NASA even allows me to prove they can fly to the sun. And just let me know if you’d like to see the peaceful faces of men, women, and children in both phenomena. I even show the men with beards and mustaches.

Such ‘creatures’ can be so much more detailed and colorful than this. You can even see the color of their hair. They can even have arms instead of wings.

Steven, tell the world why my images can all be easily explained like other ‘Critical Thinkers’ with thousands of followers insist.

I will give this ‘escape route’ to Mr. Caddens. He did say “My belief is”.

So, what is your belief now?

UFO sightings are absolutely 100% true.

The term UFO means.. What? What does the U stand for?

Thats right, its unidentified, and so the term simply means that they saw somethign and they dont know what it was!

We all see these every day and maybe its a bird, a aplane, or superman, we simply dont know, and so yes, UFOs are seen by thousands of people every day.

Now, are you asking ARE ALIEN SPACE CRAFT TRUE, then…

I dont honestly know?

Without a boubt, thre are videos out there that absolutely show that these is suspicious looking things and there are videos out there that absolutely do show, what absolutely positivel;;y does show an alien spacecraft, or at least some form of intelligent machinery of some kind, but lets also not cut the crap here, we are living in a time, where a 10 years old kid has a PC so powerful, and they can have the best software, and they can have all the skills to make a video of an alien spaceship look so perfect, that we cannot even tell a movie from reality anymore, and they could simply leak that video onto the net and we would be none the wiser.

There are also the ISS live streams that get stopped the moment something comes onto the screen, and the thing is, that we humands have sent so much rubbish out into space, that we do have thousands of things like older satellites and so on, that could be mistaken for UFO and indeed as I said earlier, until we know what things are, they will always be UFO.

As for alien life? I would like to hope so, but so far, nothing is concrete.

Humanity has been seeing “things in the sky” for thousands of years.

Mostly they are natural events, comets, meteors, ball lightning, cloud formations, flights of bird.

Since the Wright brothers invented heavier than air craft in 1904 we have had additional sightings of misidentified aircraft as well.

There is no doubt that the USA, Russia and perhaps China are flying secret experimental craft and perhaps some of these are sighted as UAP/UFO.

A shiny light in the sky is NOT evidence of a craft piloted by non-humans, it is a shiny light in the sky that we cannot identify.

Lots of conspiracy theories are around [that sell a lot of books and TV shows] but there is little evidence that what we see is anything not originating from Earth.

Obviously, most UFO sightings are real or half a million people on this planet are losing their minds... Are the crafts being flown by ET's? Who knows... The crafts could very well be new, updated, military aircrafts flown by trained pilots.. Then again, are we so vain to think we are the only living beings in existence? I think that's crazier than accepting the fact there are living beings on planets we haven't been to yet... Why the big government secret? As irritating as it is, I suppose those in charge around the world have their reasons.. all we can do is wait, be careful what we read and listen to, and watch the skies for the pretty lights with the hope that one day soon we will know the truth..lol

UFO means Unidentified Flying Object, not extraterrestrial vehicle2y

Originally Answered: UFOs do they really exist or are they just a myth?

A UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object. Certainly there are things that fly, that people can’t identity. I’ve seen a number of them myself and most I figured out eventually. They included trails from meteors passing through the atmosphere, blimps, various aircraft, and some I simply assume were aircraft.

Whether any UFO has ever been an extraterrestrial vehicle is a question I cannot answer. Logically, the number of reported UFOs make it impossible that most of them are extraterrestrial vehicles, and if 95% of UFOs can have other explanations 100% of them can as well.

The vast distances between planets makes it very unlikely the Earth has ever been visited by extraterrestrials.

UFOs always exist. We can never eliminate them.

By their very nature, there are objects in the skies of Earth that may not be immediately identifiable. Of course, as skeptics have quite rightly pointed out, a UFO does not mean it is extraterrestrial or involves alien visitations. A variety of man-made and natural explanations exist that could explain the UFO. At the same time, it would be foolish to believe that all UFOs have man-made and natural explanations. Until the work is done on all UFOs reported, we can never be sure what they may represent.

If there is anything new to learn about UFOs, scientists who study them will find it. They are the ones with the curiosity and open-mindedness to look for anything in the UFO reports that will advance science. Something that is new. Something that they have not seen before. For example, when witnesses report the UFOs at close range with unusual symmetrical designs, occasionally with protrusions attached to the central body, has large glowing areas, show unusual flight behaviours, occasionally leave behind traces on the ground and on witnesses, and much more, there is something new to study here. We don't see these things in traditional man-made airports with the kind of aircraft we deploy everyday. So the interest is to find out why. What is special about these observations? Can we rely on the hallucination theory for all these UFO reports? Or could they represent something new to science? Perhaps a new technology for flying we have not considered before.

When scientists do find something, the opportunity to advance our scientific knowledge and the potential for a new technology is an expected outcome from such study.

Studying UFOs can be a legitimate area of scientific study where the prospects of advancing science is there.

Yes, some flying objects are unidentified by some of the people who see them. All that proves is that not everyone has 20/20 vision and also a comprehensive knowledge of meteorology and of all the world’s aircraft.

What it does not prove is that little green people would travel for hundreds of thousands of years from a star system light years away with the sole intention of cavorting in the skies over sparsely-populated areas of the Earth (almost exclusively the USA) to the bewilderment of a small number of those areas’ less sophisticated denizens.

Of course it is a myth.

The U.S. government and all of the world’s governments have been making it all up specifically to trick you.

Also, all of the people who have witnessed UFOs have also been trying to deceive you.

They dislike you and don’t trust you.

They go as far as invent radar data and sensor contacts and eye witnesses to trick you.

Kinda sucks, doesn’t it, that so many people are trying their absolute hardest to try to trick you?

Just believe it is a myth and you can sleep better at night.

All it takes is one account to be true and that would mean they exist.

They are Satan and his fallen angels. One of Satan's nicknames is Prince of the Power of the Air. Read Ephesians 2 : 1 - 2. There are three known powers of the universe; there's God power, Man's power, and Satanic powers. Would God be doing such craziness without explanation? — No! Do man have even the power to have silent aircraft traveling thousands of mph from a standstill -- No! Do Satan and his angels have that ability --- Yes! That's your answer. As the world draws to a climax, expect more sightings.

Are UFO sightings real? Why?

At this point in time the case is closed, UFOs are real.

So in the 1940s and 1950s there are a bunch of sightings of UFOs- the most famous being Roswell (which is actually not a UFO). The US Airforce comes out and downplays the whole thing as just misidentified balloons and whatnot.

Yet internally, the Airforce was very concerned about these UFOs and even commissioned multiple studies of them.

In 1948 the first government-funded study was done on UFOs, called Project Sign. The conclusion was interesting. While the study concluded that most UFO sightings were ballons or optical illusions but that a minority of cases were unexplainable and that the “extraterrestrial hypothesis” is the most probable explanation.

The government rejected it outright. They refused to accept the results in any form.

A new study was thus done, called Project Bluebook. Project Bluebook was specifically created not to explain UFOs, but to debunk the extraterrestrial hypothesis. They did a bad job and just made the blanket statement that it was all just misidentifications and optical illusions.

In 2004 the USS Nimitz was patrolling off the coast of Mexico with an armada of advanced warships when strange things began to happen.

For days, radar was tracking a cluster of objects moving too slow to be aircraft but too fast to be birds. The objects moved erratically- seemingly breaking the laws of physics. Occasionally more objects would appear at extremely high altitudes and drop down to sea level in seconds to join the other objects.

Those on the ship were able to physically see these objects as well using high-strength binoculars.

After days of this multiple F-18s were sent out to investigate these objects.

The F-18s went over to the objects and noticed a weird thing on the surface of the ocean. It was oval-shaped and just cresting the water. The object was not detected by sonar of nearby submarines.

An F-18 decided to close in and get a better look. As they got closer they noticed a white circular craft buzzing above the ocean disturbance. It was jetting back and forth very quickly like a wasp. The object was perfectly smooth.

The UFO seemingly notices the F-18 and begins to climb as the F-18 was circling down to get a good look. The F-18 makes a steep bank angle to keep up but the UFO then takes off at hypersonic speed, disappearing in mere seconds.

Now we have 2 sets of pilots from 2 F-18s who witnessed this. These are F-18 pilots too, men well versed in aeronautics.

The planes return and another few are sent out. The pilots who witnessed the UFO tell the new pilots to keep an eye out for anything strange. These pilots would head out with an extremely sensitive camera and make for the UFOs.

They would soon find one and record it.

Then in 2014, the Theodore Rosevelt started tracking UFOs. They began to follow them and track them, and 2 jets even almost collided mid-air with a UFO.

These UFOs made physics-defying maneuvers and were witnessed by dozens of pilots over many months. Eventually, they caught these crafts on video using hyper-sensitive cameras mounted on the jets.

Now the US government is upfront on this (kinda). They fully admit this happened and they have no explanation for it.

Now, this isn’t all. There have been hundreds of UFO sightings from the late 1940s to today that cannot be explained by anyone.

A number of Aeronautical engineers were fishing in 1952 when they noticed a weird thing in the cloudless sky. They used the binoculars to get a better view and witnessed an ovular silver object moving into the wind quickly and then disappearing at lightning speed. These guys never went public with this information FYI.

On a number of occasions, teams of scientists launching weather ballons saw a UFO while tracking their ballons.

A police officer noticed a bright light and loud sound in the desert and went to investigate. He saw an oval craft in the desert. When it noticed him it took off and then shot away at an insane speed. The officer was considered reliable even by those who interrogated him and he never capitalized off the attention. The scene of the take-off also left tons of physical evidence confirming Lonnie’s story.

There are hundreds of these stories that cannot be explained.

Now are these aliens? I don’t know. These could be high advanced experimental craft.

But these pieces of evidence are VERY hard to dismiss outright. Something is strange here.

UFOs are anything not easily identifiable. Ghost or spirit orbs, stealth fighter/bomber/spy craft, bolites/meteors, satellites in orbit, nearby planets or the moon, passing comets, maybe alien craft(probably from within our solar system if they exist and far less likely from other stars).

I used to take the topic seriously in the past, but in reality there is too much misinformation floating around so it’s impossible to connect the dots. Who is good, who is bad, where do they come from, what do they control, what craft they fly, etc.

Hoaxes and conspiracies are not the same thing. The first is a joke intended to deceive. The second implies a crime has been committed in silence by many people.

If you have time to spare you can try to make sense of ufology, but treat it as entertainment, not as fact.

Sightings of actual aliens have occurred and have been documented by respected psychologists, contrary to what has been reported in the media. I’ve never seen an alien but i’ve seen ufos. Once when I was young and twice since I’ve been an adult. It’s hard to talk about because people think you’re crazy, but I know what I’ve seen. When you’ve seen something more than twice, you no longer question its existence.

There IS evidence UFOs - either from other planets, from other dimensions, from other times etc. - exist ; and’re visiting Earth etc. It’s possible aliens’re monitoring certain planets, moons etc. ; using other star systems ; etc.

Of course - perhaps also because of UFOs’ elusiveness - there IS still a chance UFOs’re all from Earth, imagined, made up etc.

But I think BECAUSE UFOs’re often denied, covered up etc. by authorities - see the Symington case in Arizona - it helps PROVE they visit Earth

Aliens DO EXIST in the galaxy / in other galaxies ; but I think if people WEREN’T reporting seeing anything very convincing on Earth - which would be perfectly normal - we could be more sure aliens WEREN’T capable of visiting other star systems / dimensions / times etc.

Humans themselves’re exploring space ; and - with the possibility some aliens’re millions etc. years ahead of us - some of us realize these amazing possibilities could happen

The us government dumped tons of documents after all these years of lying. The us gov doesn't do that for nothing. Watch Steven Grier. He's the one who got the files to be released. He's on Netflix and other sites. There seems to be evidence to UFOs being real. Yet, I don't know, I've never seen one as far as I know. Unless humans are aliens, which would be strange, because I don't feel like an alien.

The best evidence to support the existence of UFOs and aliens is the visitations that resulted in the world’s religions. No matter where you look in history, you will find evidence of alien encounters with civilizations. Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are all based on being visited by aliens. If you study the great empires of the Assyrians, Egyptians, Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, etc., they all are based on being visited by the Gods (Aliens) from above. Every continent and people claim that their existence results from the Gods. That being the case, over half of the world believes in aliens. Different names are used to describe these aliens by various cultures and peoples. A rose by any other name is still a rose.

Do you believe in UFOs?

Since UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object, I do believe in them and have had two sightings.

The first one was about fourteen years ago. I live in a medium sized city in Alberta, Canada, and had just parked the car and was gathering up my things when I looked up and noticed four triangular aircraft begin to hover just above the treeline.

This is a google image that resembles what I saw, although the body of the craft was narrower, and the lights were white. The four aircraft hovered for about fifteen seconds then shot straight up and out of sight. This particular sighting made me think that maybe Canada or the U.S. were testing something new, but at the back of my mind, I wondered if it was aliens.

The second time I saw something, I wasn’t alone!

My husband and I were in the backyard, sitting beside the fire pit. It was a beautiful night with clear starry skies, and we watched first one plane, then another, move across the sky heading North from the Calgary Airport. It was low enough that we could see it’s tail light blinking in the distance. All of a sudden my husband says “What is that?!”

Trailing just behind the plane was a small orange ball, that looked much like this:

The plane with the tail light kept ascending, and the orange ball followed closely behind. Then all of a sudden, the direction of the orange ball changed and it started moving toward us. We could see it make a turn, and it began to get closer. We watched it move toward us as the plane got farther away, and it seemed to keep coming for a good thirty seconds. Finally it seemed to stop and be still for a fraction of a second before shooting straight up and disappearing altogether.

My husband and I looked at each and he said “You saw that too?”

We have no explanation for that one. I doubt that it was a military craft.

Is there evidence that aliens/UFOs exist and what is the evidence against aliens/UFOs?

If the popular perception from the mainstream scientific community regarding the vastness of space and the virtual impossibility of neither aliens nor earthlings traveling across light years to converge at the same point in time is embraced, then one can say that’s the evidence against UFOs that are would-be aliens.

From the standpoint of our scientific knowledge and limitations, the majority voice in mainstream scientific community would be correct that our material science already demonstrated that there’s plenty of evidence against the idea that UFOs being aliens.

Logic:

Now let’s assume that our current understanding of physics is only limited to our material scientific understanding of reality making our current knowledge of universal reality very limited. And let’s assume that there are numerous ET civilizations from hundreds to millions plus years more advanced or evolved in all facets than we are. Wouldn’t the logic behind these assumptions suggest that their scientific knowledge and physics would be perhaps magically well beyond that of ours?

Wouldn’t the acceptance of the above logic open possibilities beyond our earthly imagination?

Wouldn’t the above scenario require a humble and open mind for us to interrogate the “alien” question?

Given the above argument, wouldn’t it make the scenario that our more advanced neighbors would be the ones to have discovered a form of physics that resolved the mystery of space travel?

The Department of Defense and the Navy confirmed that UFOs, based on their fighter pilots’ encounters and documentations, are in fact real. Navy Confirms Existence of 'Unidentified' Flying Objects Seen in Leaked Footage

Luis Elizondo of AATIP, a DOD sponsored study of UFOs, ruled out all prosaic explanations (Venus, swamp gas, lens blips, birds, drones, atmospheric blips, ball lightning etc.). He termed these objects, crafts.

Note that we’re not yet speaking of facts. But to begin to understand possibilities, intelligent speculations and theories must be brought forth. Via a process of brainstorming of new ideas and possibilities in physics, these are the papers The US military released a study on warp drives and faster-than-light travel. Here's what a theoretical physicist thinks of it. that DOD Government funded scientists have presented in terms of how ET or ED beings might have made their ways to us instead of the other way around.

When it comes to UFOs there are many different layers. There are UFO sightings, UFO encounters, visitation from "alien" beings, and the list goes on. Personally, I don't think UFOs are extraterrestrial, not in the conventional sense. There is a reality to it all, but we don't have the tools to really examine it the way we need to, not yet.

What is the belief behind UFOs and aliens? Is there any evidence to support their existence on Earth? How credible are these claims?

Pretty f**king credible. Aliens, no real concrete “yeah we have them” evidence. U F.O.’s though, no doubt. Now here's the problem.

A long time ago I use to watch the x-files. Yeah, I know, big shocker, right? But there was this one episode that people were getting abducted and telling these crazy stories. So as they investigate, they can't find any real, solid evidence.

Towards the end of the episode, they show someone get abducted. After the abduction, the aliens removed their suits only to be government officials that were using all this never before seen high end technology and they were the aliens. See people don't understand, money, billions of dollars is used for UFO research. No UFO's, no aliens, no funding.

Now at the very end of that episode, the government officials were abducted by real aliens.

Like a false flag attack. They convince people of something else, while they are behind the thing themselves.

Do I believe personally? No doubt, it's nearly foolish not to in my opinion.

To circle this bad boy back around to the original question. We will only be allowed to know what they will allow us to know. The credibility will be as credible as they allow it to be, unless it can no longer be hidden. They will lie to us until it can't be lied about no more. Whatever works to control the masses or to get the power and or money.

What are UFOs? Do they really exist?

Yep. Unidentified Flying Object, associated with Alien encounters when in fact it's simply an object, in the sky, you can't identify. Area 51…Alien tech proving ground? Nah! But it's a great conspiracy theory to keep you wondering instead of focusing on the reality, which is?…there is stuff that the military dont want their enemies knowing about and if folk think it's aliens…job done. As to the question of extraterrestrial…sure look like it when you've never seen the like before..

Call me a sceptic but those aircraft are the ones we currently know of…no longer a secret, so what else do they have under the covers?

More UFO sightings that's what. Superb cover, and it's free thanks to conspiracy theorists. Do I believe in alien life? Course I do. I'm not that naive, have they visited? I'm not that naive either, astronomy is a hobby of mine so I'm no expert but the distances involved are mind bending, so no! Aliens are not visiting a planet that is a mere dust particle in the outer regions of a galaxy far, far away..😊

Are aliens real? Do they exist? Why do so many people claim aliens sightings or alien abuctions?

David Lockman has the goods here. However, the conclusion about whether intelligent aliens have visited Earth etc. is a bit weak. It’s only because essentially nothing is completely impossible that I give him that.

It might as well be impossible. Space is vast — really, incredibly enormous. In our immediate galactic neighborhood, call it 100 light-years, the chances of another spacefaring society are so remote as to be astronomically tiny. Yet, that enormous space of ~30,000 square light-years (not to mention the 3rd dimension here), is a mere four-millionths of the area of our galaxy. We cannot penetrate most of this area with our current telescopes. The regions across the galactic center are hidden from our view.

Let us suppose that an advanced, spacefaring society exists somewhere in our galaxy (other than us). Could they even find us in the background noise of our galaxy? Not likely. They would have to know where to look and what to look for. Could they see our technology bollixing up our atmosphere? If they are more than a couple of hundred light-years distant — as they certainly must be — then they won’t see our mess for a long time. In fact, they probably are thousands of light-years distant and will see absolutely no evidence of humanity here.

I have to ask you. Why would an advanced spacefaring society send out ships on a journey of thousands of years (probably much more unless they can travel at relativistic speeds) to look in a random spot in the galaxy where we just happen to reside? You can see what utter nonsense this idea is.

It doesn’t matter how many other planets harbor these intelligent spacefaring species as long as the likelihood is where we are certain it is — far less than winning the lottery. They are so distant that they cannot affect us or vice versa.

Let’s accept that, for all practical purposes, we are alone. Instead of looking to the stars for our saviors or destroyers, let’s look to ourselves. We are on a steep, slippery slide to “hell” and must act to stop it.

Yes, they are real, based on our understanding of reality. A better question would be, “Are we?” They may be all that is real, and that we as humans are the simulation. We could be in a simulation so convincing that we believe that we are the only real part of the equation. So which would be more real, the primitive, or the advanced species? Knowing that we are the primitive of the two, I would have to believe that they are.

Both species, human and extraterrestrial believe that they are real and act as if they are, within their own realities, but neither can be sure, and thus this is the conundrum.

Are UFO sightings all a hoax?

No, the vast majority, are simply misidentified ordinary,or natural phenomena o.The people reporting such a sighting really believe something extraordinary has happened to theml.I went to a boarding school for middle school,or junior High as it used to be called. One afternoon,I built a chinese lantern, out of balsa wood, and a dry cleaning bag.I had the balsa wood because,I had been building Estes model rocketsl.I secured about a dozen birthday candles to the frame with melted wax. Then I took a box of kitchen matches, and my model to a soccer field on campus.I held the bag up,and started lighting candles.it was a cold clear night with no http://wind.At some mpoint,it wanted to fly.I finished lighting candles and let it http://go.It slowly rose above some powerlines atth endof the field and drifted off towards town.I didn’t feel any wind, but there was apparently enough to movr this thing. Worrying vaguely about starting a fire,I walked back into the dorm building’and went to bed..It didn’t start a fire, but it did generate some UFO reports. The reportts sshowed up in the local paper over the next few daysIam pretty sure thepeople making the reportswere honest ,South Carolina countrry folk, who misidentified what they saw. This was in the mid 1960s,so returning vets would likely be the only ones who had ever seen real chhinese lanterns

Are UFO sightings all a hoax?

Some are hoaxes, but not all are. It’s estimated that about 80% of reported UFO sightings can be explained by mundane Earthly items, such as hoaxes or misidentified sightings of aircraft, balloons, birds, weather phenomenon, etc. Then an additional roughly 15% have to be discounted, that is they can’t be explained because there’s not enough data. That leaves roughly 5% which have a competent observer, a competent investigator, and still can’t be explained by Earthly means.

Do you think we'll ever find extraterrestrial life?

Ever? We may find it before 2030.

The James Webb Space Telescope (currently slated for launch in two years) and the Wide-Field Infrared Survey Telescope (scheduled for launch in the mid-2020s) will both be able to observe the spectra of exoplanets. Finding an earth-like or super-earth planet with free oxygen in its atmosphere would be a pretty compelling argument for life.

Oxygen is highly reactive. Unless it’s constantly being generated, it will soon (in planetary terms) become bound up in oxides in the planet’s crust.

This planet did not have an oxygenated atmosphere when it formed. Life evolved here in a reducing atmosphere. The first oxygenating photosynthetic life gave us oxygen, and also exterminated almost every living organism on the planet—oxygen, being highly reactive, tends to kill anaerobic organisms.

This event in Earth’s history is often called the Oxygen Catastrophe. Wikipedia, in a bizarre fit of political correctness, calls it the “great oxygenation event”—but I digress.

Point is, an oxygenated atmosphere isn’t natural without life. If all life on earth died, the earth’s atmosphere would quickly (again in planetary terms) lose all its oxygen.

So if we see oxygen in the air on another planet, odds are very good we’ve seen extraterrestrial life.

This next decade is going to be a very exciting time, a very exciting time indeed. What an extraordinary, splendid time to be alive!

Why is there a lack of discussion about aliens and UFOs despite claims of sightings? Is there evidence to support their existence or is it a hoax?

First, UFO’s do exist! Yes I’m 100% sure they do, so they are not a hoax! But the next question should be what are UFO’s? UFO’s are Unidentified Flying Objects. So when you see something flying in the air (or you think it flies in the air) it is a UFO, when you recognize it as a bird or a plane then it isn’t an UFO anymore, then it is a IFO (Identified Flying object.

Then there is a big question: Are (some) UFO’s alien spacecraft coming to earth?

My first question is always: does it make sense that aliens make a trip of many light years to come here, see from space there is life on earth, so they enter the atmosphere and then hurry to go away without making contact with any of us?

And then the universe is very, very large, no I mean think of a large universe multiply that by say 10.000.000.000.000.000 and you get an idea how large the universe is and yes it is probably a little larger than that too!

There are between 200.000.000.000 and 400.000.000.000 stars in our Milky Way galaxy alone and there are estimates of about 200.000.000.000 to 400.000.000.000 galaxies in the universe, so it makes sense that there are other civilizations in our universe. How much? We don’t know! But knowing the number of stars in the universe (between 40.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 and 160.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 stars) they have a lot of places to chose from. What is the change they come to us and not to an other planet around an other star? Why would they come to earth? Why not make contact with us when they are here? Why flying away, not once but many times?

So yes UFO’s are eal, but they are probably no visitors from space, but normal earthly things…

Are UFO sightings real? Why?

UFO'S ARE REAL!

Two nights ago a lighted, SILENT OBJECT hovered in the sky above the field right outside my window. Really! It happened. I have photographic evidence. I took these photos using my cell phone. My heart was thumping outside my chest. That would account for the blurriness.

(Why is it that when you really need your camera it won't take photos or video as you wish?)

-Camera in cool down mode-

It must have been THE ALIENS!!

That was the warning flashing on my screen as I aimed and clicked at the frightening ball of mechanical light in the sky. I managed to click off two photos before my camera shut down.

Believe it or not. I don't care. I'm not lying to you- this actually happened.

I got the stunning photos of this floating orb.

AWESOME, RIGHT!?!

A U.F.O!!

An UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT!!

I was already cashing the photo in on social media. I thought I could sell it for at least fifty bucks to some publication, right?

WRONG.

Come to find out tonight, our neighbor's kid got a drone and was testing it out around the property. A DRONE!

But you know, come to think of it...

That does technically qualify as a UFO, doesn’t it?

It is a reality because so many people have seen UFOs like me that thy are true and a reality but aliens I have never met so I can't say if they can survive on this planet and I may not be able to find this put because they never land

Only crash like Roswell but the government cleaned that up real quick so nobody could say there are aliens out there

The government wants to keep all about aliens to themselves and don't want the public th know anything

They have been with us for thousands of years. We interpret them according to our current cultural values. In the ancient world they were gods. In the modern world of science and technology they are space ships from another planet. Neither are true and both are true.

They are a mystery. We do not have the sociel maturity to completely understand them yet.

At this stage with the amount of disclosure that has already taken place it's very hard to believe that anyone would think that UFOs and extra-terrestrials or a myth. As time moves on, there will be more and more disclosure of what that actually means. Most people would be quite surprised or astounded to know the depth of information in this realm that is available

Are UFO sightings real? Why?

I woud love to say "yes", or "no", and then have a nice hamburger.

But unfortunately, it is not all that easy.

In fact, it is a very difficult to understand phenomenon, that challenges our accepted reality.

Let me set out by stating, that the UFO phenomenon is a real phenomenon.

A great many people have witnessed UFOS, sometimes from close by.

And sometimes, they claim to be abducted by alien craft, who took them aboard and where aliens did some research on them.

To get to the realization how many qualified people believe in UFOS, I will give a few names, but I will not give an in depth description of their experiences, because nobody on Quora will read a 200 pages long post.

Here we go.

People believing in or having witnessed a UFO:

---Ex President Jimmy Carter. He said, that he believed in UFOS because he had seen one.

---John Podesta.Whitehouse Chief Of Staff under President Clinton.

On twitter he placed a message that said"The thing I regret the most is, that I have not been able to get more UFO files released."

---Robert Hastings and Robert Salas. Both former nuclear missile launch control officers, who stated on CNN's Larry King Live Show, that UFOS were tampering with nuclear weapons.

---Fife Symington.Governor of Phoenix Arizona. When his population had witnessed a large black triangle soaring noiselessly over the city, their Governor first ridiculed the event. But after his tenor as Governor, he conceded, that he himself had witnessed the craft. He felt obliged to ridicule the event, because he was afraid that panic would ensue amongst the population.

---Paul Hellyer.Ex minister of defence of Canada. He is a strong believer in the alien presence on earth and he accuses the American government of holding back the evidence.

---Edgar Mitchell and Buzz Aldrin. Both former astronauts.Edgar Mitchell believes, that a UFO has crashed in Roswell New Mexico in 1947.Buzz Aldrin once saw a UFO land in the desert and, after a while, take off.

---Lonnie Zamorra and Herbert Schirmer. Both American police officers, who witnessed a craft land and saw alien beings disembark. They were not partners and had their experiences years apart.

---Gary Heseltine.British police officer. He is a spokesman for many of his colleagues, who have witnessed a UFO.

---Colonel Charles I. Halt, SSGT Jim Penniston, A1C John Burroughs. They were all military men on an American Nuclear Base in the UK.In a nearby wood, Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk, they witnessed the landing of an unknown craft.I t was on December 25, 26, 27, 28 1980. This is the most impressive UFO incident in human history.

I hope you understand, that if so many qualified personnel witness the phenomenon, something really serious must be going on.

The big question is, however, if the craft and the aliens are real in a material sense of the word.

More and more serious researchers, like Jacques Vallee, come to the conclusion, that the phenomenon is probably caused by a hitherto not yet fully understood part of our human consciousness, probably in conjunction with an external agent.

Maybe our collective unconscious is projecting images into our space/time, that are not material and not real in our every day sense of the word.

Maybe this is done to adapt our mind to the world around us, or to help us reach a higher state of consciousness.

In scientific circles the subject is a taboo and only very few scientists dare to put their reputation on the line by doing serious research on the subject.

One of them and probably the most creative and resourceful researcher is the before mentioned Jacques Vallee, whose book "The invisible college" I highly recommend.

The biggest problem with the UFO enigma, is that this phenomenon is so incomprehensible and mysterious, that we lack the language to describe it, the theories to fit it and the scientific knowledge to understand it.

It is psychological, because it has a traumatizing effect on the abductees.

It is physical, because it leaves physical traces, like indentations in the ground of a landing gear.it leaves marks on trees, after a landing.Sometimes increased levels of radiation are measured.

It is psychical, because abductees say, that the communication with aliens is telepathic.

Abductees tell of aliens suddenly materializing in their room, or coming in through walls.

Since scientists are afraid of being ostracised by their colleagues and ridiculed by the public, they do not dare to tackle the problem.

And that situation leaves tens of thousands of abductees and witnesses, who are sometimes deeply traumatized, out in the cold with no answers.

Best Wishes!

Robert.

Are aliens real or hoax in real life? Are there any physical proof?

I disagree with Katherine Price. Personally I do not think they are protecting us…. they are studying us. UFOs were reported by American & British fighter pilots during WWII and referred to as ‘gremlins’ (described as cigar-shaped, glowed red and could turn on a dime. Which ruled out even the most sophisticated rockets of the time). But these things never intervened to stop the mass destruction & killing of millions of combatants and victims. It would appear that they were only observing and nothing more.

UFO’s are real - in that they are unidentified phenomena at the time of this writing. Whether they are of alien origin is still something we are yet to find out. But it’s important to keep in mind that it’s possible that they are not. It’s an interesting subject because of the mystery. Hopefully we will get to find out soon enough.

What is the search for extraterrestrial life? Is it real or just part of a hoax to fool people into believing in aliens and UFOs? If it is real, then why are they hiding their existence so well?

There is a huge yawning gap between “search for extraterrestrial life” and “believing in aliens and UFOs”.

In the first case, we are destined for possible electromagnetic signals from a remote civilization. If it exists, such a civilization might be 1,000 or one million (or many more) light years away. But it is quite possible that we might some day detect such a civilization.

The chance that such a civilization has “close to light speed travel” however, and furthermore chooses to visit us - given that such a trip might take thousands of years - is, unfortunately, vanishingly small.

So it is quite reasonable to search for civilization without any expectation that they might turn up “on our doorstep”.

Why is there a lack of discussion about aliens and UFOs despite claims of sightings? Is there evidence to support their existence or is it a hoax?

There's actually been a resurgence of discussion about UFOs, now often called Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs). Here's a breakdown of why the level of discussion fluctuates:

Reasons for Less Discussion in the Past:

Lack of Credible Evidence: Most UFO sightings have blurry photos or unreliable witness testimonies. Scientists prefer verifiable data.

Government Stigma: For decades, governments downplayed UFO reports, fearing panic or ridicule. This discouraged serious investigation.

Debunking Through Conventional Means: Many UFO sightings turn out to be misidentifications of planes, weather balloons, or natural phenomena.

Reasons for Renewed Discussion:

Increased Transparency: Governments are declassifying more UFO reports, and the US even has a new agency dedicated to UAP investigation.

Better Technology: Advancements in phone cameras and citizen reporting have led to more documented sightings.

Scientific Curiosity: The vastness of the universe makes the possibility of extraterrestrial life more intriguing to some scientists.

So, is there evidence?

Right now, there's no definitive proof of alien spaceships visiting Earth. The UAP reports remain unexplained, but that doesn't necessarily mean aliens.

What's next?

The new UAP investigation office aims to gather more data and use scientific methods to analyze sightings. This could lead to a better understanding of UAPs, even if it doesn't confirm aliens.

Here are some resources for further exploration:

You say “any concrete evidence” - but you mean any officially accepted & confirmed evidence. There is none - yet. If I´d have a (private level) evidence I would not publish it and I´d not request an official test. Causes too much trouble / too expensive - in means of money / time / trouble. And I´m not “special”. So there may be several (private level) evidences without the public knowing about it.

For example: those peruan mummies - appear to be pretty solid. Officially: fake, but a real examination …(?). Apparently too less public interest … strange.

Have you ever seen a UFO, not necessarily extraterrestrial, just a UFO?

Yes I have. The most dramatic time was in 1984; most of the few other times were just unusually moving distant lights in the night sky.

I was hiking in summer at night with a friend in the southern Tennessee Cumberland Mountains and just a smidge upstream of the high drop off at Rainbow Falls we saw this giant car-headlight-like thing maybe a hundred yards over, up, and through the trees. It approached us at, maybe thirty miles per hour, and stopped about thirty feet away where there were no tree branches between us and it. It was maybe at almost sixty degrees of elevation and twenty feet south and twenty feet up.

It made no sounds and looked like a Saturn shape but with a shorter and thicker middle ring. It was self luminescent like an over-bright white tube light and had no surface features. It was about ten feet wide.

It is hard to get across to others just how emotionally upset we both became right then.

What do you believe is the truth about extraterrestrials, and why?

Ever since reading about the concept of parallel worlds, my views on this phenomenon have opened up much further than those of the typical “UFO believer” who thinks that extraterrestrials come here in space ships shaped like saucers, like earthly astronauts going to the moon.

My view is that the universe is infinite in time and space, as are the dimensions, and all the possibilities that come with it. Somewhere out there, there is a world that is exactly like our world, and the only difference is that the BMW logo is not blue and white, but green and white.

I really believe that.

It follows logically if you believe the above, and I do.

But the truly stunning thing is that there will also be worlds where things are crazy different from what we know, and everything in between. And they, too, will have their variations. Honestly, I think it’s a jungle out there that is so thick with variations, we would freak if we could see it in its entirety.

Or, to put it in vegetable terms, we still think salt crumb when it’s clearly broccoli time out there. On levels no waiter or chef can imagine.

What is the reality of UFO?

Buddhism and other pagan belief systems find increasing support in the Western world. After the rapid decline of materialism and atheism in today's world, many superstitious beliefs— particularly Buddhism—engage in much propaganda to stem the tide of a return to true religion. To understand these vain doctrines' real nature, one needs only think a little and put them through the sieve of reason. Buddhism and similar pagan beliefs are eager to curtail this movement by offering, to those confused by the crisis of meaning brought on by the materialist culture, a false route to salvation. Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism and versions of it like the Hare Krishna sect, Wicca and other New Age trends that bring together various pagan teachings, UFO religions that busy themselves with so-called holy messages believed to have come from space—these are all false teachings embraced by those who do not want to break with atheist and materialist dogmas, while eagerly search for spirituality at the same time. Besides, many who become Buddhists are largely influenced by a desire to unwittingly and blindly imitate something they do not understand, simply to attract attention and pretent that they are, indeed, aware and sophisticated. To understand why these doctrines are unfounded, we need only pass them through the sieve of logic. We have already examined the concept of karma, the foundation of several Far Eastern religions, and shown it to have no rational basis. (For a more detailed discussion, see Harun Yahya's Islam and Karma, Ta Ha Publishers, London, 2003) These religions do not believe in the existence of God, nor in an ultimate place of divine judgment for mankind. How, then, can they believe that every person will receive a reward for what he has done—in a subsequent life? Who will determine this? Those who revere "Extraterrestrials" also believe in similar nonsense. How can a person build a philosophy of life on UFOs, whose reality is quite debatable? Even if beings from outer space did exist, they too would, necessarily, have to have been created. But what is the guarantee that they could show humans the true path?[1]

Do you really think UFOs exist?

Possibly you haven’t been following the UFO news lately. An earthquake happened within UFO studies. Basically the Pentagon declassified and released gun camera footage of Navy jets chasing UFOs. This happened on December 16th, 2017, a day that will be remembered as the beginning of full government disclosure of Ufos, their reality, and soon, ET presence on earth. The New York Times and Washington post both ran front-page articles on it, and it’s been covered by every major news outlet here and abroad. CNN MSNBC, Fox news, the network news shows. It’s a total game changer!

What is your opinion on confirmed sightings of aliens? Do you think it's a hoax? Real? Or do you think that it's been covered up for decades?

That the sightings are or have ever been that of actual extraterrestrial spacecraft or extraterrestrials has not been proven. People and recording devices see and pick up many dozens of normal things viewed under unusual conditions all the time. Simply because you personally don’t know what you saw or recorded doesn’t mean it was extraterrestrial.

Some things are done for fun or to perpetuate a hoax (paper plates with lit candles atop, plates help by threads to plastic garbage bags sent aloft!). Dozens may see such devices and leap to the conclusion they are extraterrestrial.

Here’s a copy of something I just wrote:

There is by no means “lots of evidence”for the existence of extraterrestrials. There is lots of speculation. We’ve no meaningful scientific evidence whatsoever for any ETs, whether single-celled microscopic plant or animals perhaps living below the ice-covered surface of the Jovian moon Europa, or complex large plant or animal ETs elsewhere in our Solar System.

It’s true that in June 2023, United States Air Force officer and former intelligence official David Grusch publicly claimed that unnamed officials told him that the U.S. federal government maintains a highly secretive UFO recovery program and is in possession of "non-human" spacecraft and "dead pilots".

Grusch CLAIMED this. He might have actually been TOLD these things. That is not evidence. He might actually believe it’s true but that’s not evidence. He may have imagined or dreamed he was told these things. That isn’t evidence. He may be lying outright. He’s been evasive when asked for details.

All I know for certain is a few things: 1) proof ETs exist would be THE biggest scientific discovery of all time. 2) if it were really true, it would be impossible to keep secret (three people can keep a secret, provided two are dead). 3) evidence could be as incontrovertible as an object proven to have been manufactured elsewhere than on Earth. (NOT one has ever surfaced.) 4) evidence could be as incontrovertible as knowledge we did not already possess given by the ET (such as look at such-and-such coordinates in the night sky at certain wavelengths and you find definitive evidence of something new). Or an actual ET simple machine such as the equivalent of a smart phone. 5) Actual evidence of just one device that was “reverse-engineered” from sone ET spacecraft. Note every modern convenience from CTscan, MRI, global positioning satellite, touchscreen glass, laptop, smartphone, in short, EVERYTHING we use has a clearly defined developmental past. Nothing has ever been “reverse-engineered” from extraterrestrial sources, nothing. Proof something has could be proof of ETs. 6) IF dead ETs or their tissue samples really existed, THEN real exobiologists would be STUDYING them. Graduate students would be doing PhD dissertations on them. See 2). 7) nobody has won a Nobel Prize. Anyone or any group of scientists who really had such knowledge would have been invited to Sweden where the King of Sweden would hang a gold medal, the Nobel Prize around their neck and they’d share a cool one million dollar prize and get a LOT of prestige. See 1). Hasn’t happened.

And that’s why the existence of extraterrestrials has not been confirmed yet: because there’s no evidence.

Are aliens real? Do they exist? Why do so many people claim aliens sightings or alien abuctions?

Hi.

I studied this subject extensively for decades and have spoken to the world’s top authorities on this subject and had access to government data classified above top secret regarding this specific topic.

The truth is, we do not know.

A common impulse is to classify every UFO as “extraterrestrial” and every close encounter with an entity as a “xenomorph.” These are assumptions based upon preconceptions.

Everything I have learned seems to indicate this is a multidimensional phenomenon with no proof that they are extraterrestrial in origin. They are referred to in the earliest historical records as well as prehistoric pictograms. They have probably predated humans and are native to this world.

It has been hypothesized by Vallee and Keel that these beings are the basis for most myths, legends, folklore, and religion. The stories of the fae and the djinn are very clearly based on these entities.

Extraterrestrial intelligences probably do exist in many other solar systems, but there is no indication that UFOs and “aliens” are extraterrestrial in origin.

Are aliens real? Do they exist? Why do so many people claim aliens sightings or alien abuctions?

There’s simply no evidence. Although, as some of the other answers indicate, it’s certainly not impossible that intelligent, technologically-advanced aliens exist… We simply have no evidence of them.

Certainly “we” evolved. We know (just within the last few years, BTW) that most stars have associated planets, and that a percentage of these planets will lie in their respective star’s “goldilocks zone”….The area where life could arise.

It’s estimated now that there are likely billions of potentially-habitable planets in our galaxy alone, and there are billions of galaxies…

But…. All those reports of UFO sightings and abductions and the like…. Let’s be charitable. They all, each and every one, fall into the area of being “less than reliable”.

They are fad and popular-culture driven, and driven by hoaxes as well.

How short our memories are. Just a few years ago, a science-fiction/horror writer, with admitted mental problems, wrote a couple of books about his personal “abduction” experiences.

This happened to coincide with certain television shows dealing with the same subject… And the idea took off. All of a sudden, EVERYONE was getting abducted. It was claimed that literally millions of people were being abducted each year, thier memories carefully erased. They were even being floated out of their homes through solid walls in broad daylight…With no one the wiser.

Even congress became concerned….And at least one senator demanded an investigation.

But then, the fad died out, When was the last time you saw any of this nonsense in the news? Old hat… Move on.

Likewise pretty much the same with various other paranormal “sightings” which have vastly decreased due to the fact that nearly everyone now has an instantly-available high-resolution camera with them at all times. Odd, isn’t it?

Of course, we have active hoaxers who still delight in fooling the public. Look at the crop circle thing (also almost dead). We had self-described “cereologists” out dutifully measuring for trace radiation while the hoaxers were laughing their asses off from the sidelines.

And of course we have people (including people right here on Quora) who claim to have secret knowledge (which they can’t relay) or to actually be in communication with aliens and get messages regularly. All of this says a great deal about human nature and not very much about any actual Aliens.

What is your opinion on confirmed sightings of aliens? Do you think it's a hoax? Real? Or do you think that it's been covered up for decades?

it takes a beam of light - the fasted thing of all things - about 100,000 years to pass from one side to the other side of our ordinary galaxy..

one of hundreds of Billions of galaxies in the unknowable vastness of the Universe..

the point being realities of distance to even the nearest star systems within our galaxy, measured in light years away…

thus if there are life forms thru-out the unknowable vast Billions of Billions of stars some with solar systems or planets,, they could never get here… the vast distances even to the nearest star systems in our, galaxy are simply too far away, for any intelligent space faring life formed to get here…

without doubt there are and have been special aircraft with specific military roles, capable of avoiding or absorbing radar energy, etc, very small remote controlled flying vehicles, today common and in use in wars etc.. all of which could and no doubt have been observed by military aircraft etc..

any and all military and space etc vehicles must be tested… it is inevitable that countries testing new generation special air craft, must occasionally be observed, by sheer happenstance, luck etc.. there being thousands of civilian alone aircraft in the skies at any moment..

radar is everywhere today.. people worldwide have cameras in their pockets, ‘mobile phones’..

even with the toughest security measures, deliberately top secret operations, must occasionally come to the attention of commercial pilots to just millions of humans with mobile phone cameras etc..

Mars was the last chance for actual aliens within range of earth.. multiple NASA missions to Mars have demonstrated that there are no Martians on planet Mars…

Of course UFOs exist. UFO just means that somebody saw something in the sky and couldn’t tell what it was. The majority of them when investigated turn out to be ordinary things like planes, balloons, birds, planets, reflections, even hoaxes and delusions. Sometimes because of misinterpretation of size and distance they seem to perform at “impossible” speeds and with seeming manuevers that known objects can’t match, leading observers to think they are some type of advanced, even alien, craft. There is no reason to think so. A few remain unidentified, but unidentified does not mean alien.

Unidentified Flying Objects most certainly do exist. There isn’t a shred of credible, compelling evidence that they are the product of an extra-terrestrial intelligence though.

What do you believe is the truth about extraterrestrials, and why?

There are no extraterrestrials visiting Earth…no…no…DEFINITELY NO.

There might be living things on Mars/Titan/Enceladus/etc - but they aren’t bug-eyed aliens that visit Earth in flying saucers. If they exist then most likely they are something about like bacteria.

On other Star systems - there might be aliens - but we don’t know. They have not been detected…and odds are good they are too far away to ever be detected.

Is there evidence that aliens/UFOs exist and what is the evidence against aliens/UFOs?

There is no evidence that aliens exist.

There is logically no way to provide evidence for the non-existence of something, including aliens.

Make no mistake, it is perfectly possible, perhaps even likely that life, even intelligent life, even technical civilizations exist somewhere in the universe, other than Earth. We haven’t seen any evidence for it so far, but the existence of such life definitely does not violate the laws of nature as we know it. Thus it would be although a big deal, but absolutely nothing extraordinary that we gather the evidence at some point.

At the same time, claiming that extraterrestrial civilizations have been or are visiting Earth is an extraordinary claim because of the same reasons: it somewhat would bend the laws of nature as we currently know it, in terms of interstellar travel. Such extraordinary claim would require extraordinary evidence, of which we have none.

Unidentified Flying Objects definitely exist. There are may myths around what they might or might not be. But until each one is identified it is a UFO.

No, there is not. But that does not mean there is none.

The claims are not credible. No claimant has been able to produce a shred of evidence to corroborate their testimony. But this does not mean that they are all lying.

UFOS exist. People see things in the sky they don’t recognize all the time.

Alien spaceships don’t exist.

UFOs are not the same as aliens. A lot of things in the sky are “Unidentified” when you are bad at identifying things. So there are endless UFO accounts, but no good evidence for aliens.

UFOs are very real, they are unidentified flying objects. As to whether they are alien in nature, that is another thing.

Many people thinks that a UFO is, related to its literal meaning, an unidentified flying object, which means “anything flies and unidentifiable is a UFO.”

This is however, is like saying that a hot dog is a dog that's hot, and someone having a long day means his day consisted more than 24 hours. Some terms must be understood through the history of how it’s formed, instead of making one on your own.

Related with the term UFO, back in 1956 Edward Ruppelt, the Director of both Project Grudge and Project Blue Book, stating that he’d invented the term as a more general one to replace the earlier description for such objects, flying saucer[1].

While the term itself might have been originally coined by Donald Keyhoe in 1953[2], the unavoidable fact is that it’s created to replace the older term “flying saucer” due to the updated understanding that a flying saucer does not necessarily saucer shaped.

There are currently several perspective exist related with UFO authenticity: some believe it’s a real phenomenon involving advanced civilization not known to us, which might have extraterrestrial origin or even inter dimensional origin; some believe it's real but involves only secret man-made planes, e.g.: experimental military planes; and some believe it's nothing but hoax.

Some even believe it’s something to be worshipped, or on the contrary coming from the Devil hence to be avoided, but we’ll reserve those two for discussion on UFO beliefs, not UFO studies.

Is it real or fake? As a record, in US the USAF carried several projects that studies UFO phenomenon, and so do other countries like UK’s DOD and French’s CNES-Geipan, and they have years of sighting reports documented, along with examination that goes through them. Within those bulk, some small number shows the possibility of extra terrestrial origin.

Project Blue Book by example, managed to collect about 12,000 reports of UFO sightings, most concluded as misidentification of known objects, or natural phenomena, but there are also about 6% that defies common explanation[3], with evidence of very advanced technology involvement.

Any number of news articles contain sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects. If you mean flying objects from other worlds, then no, they aren’t true. If they were, they would not be hidden away by any military organization this long. They couldn’t all have fallen in just the right places for General Hideitaway’s team to get there first.

To believe that all of these UFOs are just hallucinations, would be a daft proposition. And hallucinations can’t be caught on film with no discernible evidence of Photoshop.

There could be other explanations that aliens from outer space, though A very small minority of U.F.O. cases might be due to outer space aliens.

There is a legitimate debate to be had because to date we cannot prove or disprove the existence of aliens in the universe. This is why we have organisations like SETI searching for evidence of alien life - if we don’t make the effort to search how are we going to find out one way or the other? But be aware, such a search could take decades or centuries before it finds ultimate success or failure. It’s not going to be overnight.

Depends on what you mean. The phrase “Unidentified Flying Object” simply means that someone saw something and that it does not match any number of objects with which they are familiar, and oh yes, it is flying”.

This definition covers a host of things… You saw it, it was flying, but you couldn’t identify it. Simple.

Now if you are referring specifically to alien or extra-terrestrial craft, then that answer becomes a solid “I don’t know, but probably not… yet”

One has to speculate that if there are aliens (which I suspect is highly probably, approaching certainty) AND they have achieved practical interstellar travel (which is possible, but impossible to prove until they come a knockin) they certainly have the know how and probably the tech to stay hidden from us save for accidents. The real question is… why would they? Unless they have a prime directive (non-interference) I am 99.99999% sure that we have no tech that can threaten or even touch them…

No physical evidence. But math says there are. Our universe is flat, and therefore infinite. So, if in an infinite universe, you find life, just once. It means there must be an infinite number, out there somewhere. Not only that. But there will be a planet, out there, that is an exact clone of this earth. Right down to a resident there, writing this same post, at the same time.

your problem is. You don’t even understand the basics, of the subject you are asking questions about.

but any claims we are being visited, or even invaded. Are as fictional as the Torah, Quran, bible, Harry Potter, Miss Marpels or Sherlock Homes.

Some of the "best" sightings have been debunked by experts. The truth is there is no hard evidence to support the theory that they are real but I don't think the stories are all hoaxes. Just mistaken witnesses.

One of the most convincing cases of all time, happened at o’Hare airport in Chicago November 7, 2006 and was witnessed by pilots, (one of which took a picture of the craft) airport mechanics , baggage handlers and passengers both landing and waiting in airport for flights! Numerous pictures were taken of the saucer shaped craft, which was hovering directly above O’Hair airport for a few minutes, then in a flash it shot straight up punching a disk shaped hole in the cloud above so that witnesses could now see the sky through the hole it left on this cloudy day, pictures of the hole in the cloud were also taken! And United Arlines refused to allow witnesses to be interviewed by reporters!

Some people seem to be under that impression that each report is of an alien spaceship. In reality, mostly people are reporting balloons.

There’s no physical evidence of extraterrestrial spaceships.

This targets a whole very complex topic. Sorry.

Some UFOs are misunderstood perception (>90%), some are fake, some are mindfuck and *some* are real.

If you are really interested into this topic you might visit the websites of several UFO-organizations - like MUFON or the DisclosureProject - and some witnesses published books -> “contactee literature”. That way you will NOT find data on ALL types of visiting aliens.
